Freezing beans-A series of picture instructions on how to freeze your excess beans.
Beans ready fro freezing
Beans are topped and tailed and cut into desired size
Beans are dropped into boiling water and blanched for two to three minutes to kill any bacteria
Remove beans from boiling water and place in icy cold water to stop cooking process and preserve colour
Place beans on a clean cloth and dry
Place beans on trays in a single layer, cover and place into a freezer overnight
Frozen beans are then removed from the tray.
Loose beans can then be stored in a ziplock bag fro future use.
